MONROE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH ANNOUNCES “WE’RE GOING SOLAR”
November 8, 2018
The small town of Red Hook is now graced by the largest SunPower AC Equinox solar system in New York. 150 all black 350 watt AC modules were installed last month on Rokeby Farm. This beautiful install has no visible conduit, is incredibly low profile to the barn’s roof, and is ultra sleek in its all black design. It produces more power in less space than any conventional solar system, and each panel operates independently without the need for a large, space consuming central inverter.
The farm’s owner chose SunPower panels given aesthetics were of top priority for him and his historic town.
The system will offset 100% of the farm’s usage, and its carbon offset in year one alone will equivalate to removing 29,318 pounds of waste from landfills, 1,005 tree seedlings growing for ten years, and offsetting 4,392 gallons of gasoline.
Give us a call, or shoot us an email if you are interested in learning how much a SunPower Equinox system can save you on electricity costs for your farm, home or business. Act now as 2019 is the last year to take advantage of the 30% federal tax credit!!
